USA vs Sweden U20 Live: How To Watch IIHF World Juniors 2022 game Online

USA vs. Sweden on today? Time, TV schedule for 2022 World Juniors game
The last time that Team Austria and Team Canada met in the World Juniors was in 1981, when the Canadians managed to hit double-digits in the goals department in a big win over the Austrians. Three decades later, history repeated itself, and more history was made as Connor Bedard’s four-goal performance powered Team Canada to a dominant 11-2 victory on Tuesday. The Canadians are now 2-0 to open their 2022 World Juniors run.
Bedard, 16, became the youngest player to score a natural hat trick in World Juniors history and tied Team Canada’s single-game record for goals. Mason McTavish also put up a multi-goal game with back-to-back strikes in the third period and added an assist. Cole Perfetti picked up a goal and two helpers for three points of his own.
After securing a 3-2 win over Slovakia to open the 2022 World Juniors, Team USA’s momentum was stopped abruptly on Tuesday when its game against Switzerland was canceled because of positive COVID-19 tests.
The Americans had nine different players register points in the win against Slovakia on Sunday, but after two American players tested positive, the team entered a mandatory quarantine, canceling the game against Switzerland and putting Wednesday’s game against Sweden in flux.
If it can’t be played, it will likely go down as a forfeit and a loss for the Americans. Team USA currently has three points, putting them in a three-way tie for second in Group B.
Sweden has already scored nine goals through two games and is 2-0-0. The Swedes boast seven former first-round draft picks on their team, and though they didn’t medal last year, they took home bronze in 2019 and have won three silvers since 2013.
